Hat trick! : three hockey stories

Summary: In The Wicked Slapshot, Tom isn't looking forward to hockey camp because his friends aren't going with him. But soon he is enjoying the new coach and the hockey drills, and even making a new friend. At the end of the camp, Tom invites Harty to his house for more practice. The next day, when he spots a way to improve Harty's slapshot, Tom e-mails him with a suggestion. Five months later, the two boys are surprised to find themselves playing opposite each other in a hockey tournament. Will Harty have learned from Tom's advice? In Tom's next adventure, The Funny Faceoff, the Glenlake Hawks are having a great hockey season - on the ice and in the dressing room. Tom and his friends take some of their team spirit to the classroom and in the schoolyward. But after a funny presentation in the class, they are sent to the principal's office. Can the boys use hockey teamwork to save the day? Finally, in Hockey Rules, Tom becomes the envy of his friends. His teenage babysitter, Jeff, is totally cool - he even plays road hockey. But things take a turn for the worse when Jeff becomes a ref and doesn't play favourites at a Hawks' hockey game. Jeff the Ref gives penalties and calls off goals; he plays by the rules. Things get out of hand when Tom and his friends fight back with mean chants and accidentally send Jeff a nasty e-mail. Tom comes to realize that it is better to play by the rules - at home and on the ice.
